The featherless chicken was created by Scientists in Israel. The idea behind the development was to have a chicken that is faster-growing, lower in calories and environmentally friendly.

Belgian Blue Cows are famous for their 'double muscling' due to a gene that suppresses the production of Myostatin, a protein that inhibits muscle growth after a certain point of development. The Belgian Blue originated in central Belgium in the 19th Century as a result of crossbeeding. The Belgian Blue is so big that it rquires caesarean section for the delivery of its young. There has been controversy over such Monster Cows that some countries have called for the elimination of the strain.

Omega 3 Pig

Genome Scientists at Universities in Missouri and Pittsburgh have cloned genetically modified pigs with high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential compounds that are linked to a reduction in heart diseases. The Omega-3 Pig was created because all mammals including humans do not produce Omega-3 naturally, and by doing so, essential fatty acids can be obtained easily without having to worry about eating, which may be contaminated to obtain the fatty acids.

Wagyu Beef

Wagyu Beef: The term refers to several breeds of cattle genetically predisposed to intense marbling and to producing a high percentage of unsaturated fat.

Wagyu beef tends to be pricey because the cattle are fed a special diet which includes beer, sake or even wine. Wagyu beef is famous for its marbling, flavour, tenderness and juiciness.

Wagyu beef are graded from 1-12 marbling score, with 12 being the best as it is the juiciest when cooked.
